Step III Listening and speaking
Ask the students to listen carefully and talk about the styles and give the reasons.
T: Now please listen to four short dialogues. After listening, try to tell which ones are formal and which ones are informal? Before you listen to the tape, please talk about the questions about the conversation. Pay much attention to these important points while listening.

After listening twice, check the answers and explain some difficult listening points if necessary. Then ask them to listen again and finish activity 3.

T: Next, please look at the sentences in activity 3. Work in pairs and make conversations following the stages.
Ask the students to look at the following key words and make a list of the things to be talked about.
