v-ing is used after these verbs:

admit avoid consider deny fancy finish hate imagine mind love postpone regret risk stop suggest The children admitted taking the sweets.

He suggested eating out, but I had already prepared dinner at home.

afford agree arrange attempt claim decide demand deserve expect fail guarantee hesitate hope learn manage neglect offer plan prepare pretend promise refuse seem tend threaten train want would like T: There are some verbs in the text which can be followed by -ing form or infinitive.
