Dear Chris,

I'm Li Jin, monitor of Class One, Grade Eleven. ①I'm really glad to hear that you are going to join our class as an exchange student next term. Welcome to our class!

②I'd be happy to let you know a few things about the local life here. First, our traditional foods are dumplings and rice. I hope you can enjoy them. ③Then, the weather here is almost the same as in the USA, so you don't have to bring any special clothes.

Now I'll introduce our class to you. ④There are 52 students in our class and they're all friendly and hard-working. ⑤Our teachers are kind and friendly too. ⑥I'm sure we'll become good friends.
